　　Comments on Xingjie

　　From the images viewed it appears an almost ostentatious style, eccentric that sometimes ends up being kitsch。

　　There are strong contrasts in color or material, very different. There seems to be a competition inside the room for those who may be the undisputed star of the scene: furniture, wallpaper, knickknacks, everything is overdesigned。

　　Sometimes the spaces are also quite small, and the design, instead of providing more comfort or an improvement of the space, makes the space seem smaller and not livable。

　　But there are also some spaces well designed, in their classical or baroque style, with nice combinations of materials and choices of furniture。

　　Comments on Dayin

　　The general design proposed in the images give the idea of luxury style in classical colonial villas for rich people. Most of the times the space is well-designed, about combination and choices of colors, materials and furniture。

　　In all of the three projects the style is more or less the same, but sometimes, especially in the second project, the space is overdesigned and the luxury feeling becomes kitsch. There is too heavy and strong use of marble decorations or of combination between Persian rugs and floor pattern。
